“Anyway, I'm Starfy's sister. Hi, everyone! Some people ask me if it's tough being Starfy's sis. And I tell them that the toughest part is fighting all the bad guys while Starfy takes naps!”
Starly, The Legendary Starfy

Starly (known as Stapy in Japan) is Starfy's younger sister and a major character in The Legendary Starfy series. She is usually seen as cheeky, yet rude, impulsive, and someone who pushes Starfy and Moe to meet their limits when doing something. Despite her strict and impolite nature, however, she is shown to be a little more responsible than her older brother.

She is different from Starfy and the other characters of the series in the matter that she is the only one who can do a Crawl, Wall Jump, and Low Spin.

In The Legendary Starfy, two players can join one another, with one of them playing as Starly. Starly has unique moves that players playing as Starfy cannot learn or use, such as the ability to jump off walls. She appears smaller (in-game) than Starfy, and is seen wearing her pink bow. To access playing as Starly, Moe will ask Starfy (the game player) if they want Starly to join them. You can also choose to "be" Starly when you change outfits in Stuff.

Aside from her main game appearance, Starly is additionally featured in The Legendary Starfy minigame, Dumpling Master. Here, she and the player must cook a batch of dumplings to give to Starfy, who in turn feeds them to Moe. She also makes two minor appearance in other minigames: Coin Slinger and Fishing Derby. In Coin Slinger, she can be spotted among the audience of stars, while in Fishing Derby, it is possible to catch a glance of her putting bait in the water to "summon" Moe.

When the player beats the game, he/she will unlock the world of Pufftop. Here, he/she is able to control Starly as a first player character.
